This MI joint event will showcase the ongoing cooperation between Green Powered Future Mission (GPFM) and Urban Transitions Mission (UTM), providing exemplary of readily available solutions for renewable energy communities as well as, further needs and innovation gaps still hindering their uptake. This event will delve into the importance of local energy communities and explore collaborative strategies to overcome challenges and accelerate the transition towards net-zero emissions, focusing on effective measures and innovative collaboration across level and sector. Key Brazilian representatives from national and local governments, businesses, international organisations will join the stage to discuss how to accelerate the shift towards sustainable green energy exploiting the potential of energy communities.
