Concept Note

The Annual conference of the Urban Transitions Mission Centre (UTMC) will take place on 17 June 2025 in Bonn. Together with our partner organisation ICLEI Local Governmets for Sustainability we are joining forces with Daring Cities 2025.

UTMC is supporting the Urban Transitions Mission with a global knowledge exchange platform, empowering cities worldwide to shape their own transition with a robust knowledge base and strong net-zero community of support and interchange. The Urban Transitions Mission (UTM) was launched at the COP26 with the aim to increase the capacity of cities worldwide. ItÂŽs goal is to broker solutions, approaches, and knowledge for net-zero transitions at each stage of a city climate action journey.

  • Facilitate a dialogue between UTM cities and other cities and urban stakeholders
  • Amplify city voices, allowing cities engaged in UTM to showcase their efforts, share key lessons, and explore collaborative pathways toward climate neutrality
